Fixed Assets Tracking System (FATS)

Deploy advanced **RFID tracking solutions** to bring control, information, and accuracy to your fixed assets, ensuring **real-time visibility** and improved compliance.

Why Implement RFID Tracking?

1

Improve Speed and Accuracy

Dramatically **improve the speed and accuracy** of tracking physical assets compared to manual methods. Perform a quick count of your entire inventory in minutes instead of days.

2

Full Asset Lifecycle Visibility

Track every step of the **asset life cycle**, from check-in/check-out and location transfer to audit history and depreciation management.

3

Real-Time Dashboards & Alerts

Access **live dashboards** with real-time data on asset movement and location. Receive triggering/exception-based alerts for loss prevention and location discrepancies.

4

Manage Depreciation and Cost

Accurately **manage depreciation** of fixed assets over time and allocate cost/depreciation of individual or groups of assets to multiple funding sources.

5

Flexible & Customizable Deployment

Our solution is **fully customizable** to your needs and accessible via any browser. It's designed to work efficiently on mobile devices and integrate with existing ERP systems.

6

Enhanced Security & Control

Enterprise devices provide **immense security** for your data. The system allows easy asset assignment and precise monitoring to mitigate risk and theft.

RFID Technology: Components and Function

Passive UHF System Overview

RFID is a form of wireless communication that uses radio waves to identify and track objects, typically offering a read range of **4–5 meters**. The infrastructure is built at strategic **choke points** to achieve reads from the tags.

  • 1. RFID Tag:

Contains an integrated circuit and an antenna used to transmit data upon reader activation. Separate tags are available for different surfaces.

  • 2. RFID Device (Reader/Antenna):

The reader converts radio waves received from the tags into usable data. Fixed infrastructure is placed at entry/exit gates, associated with physical location information.

  • 3. Asset Software (eWAY ATS):

The central host system where data is transferred, stored in a database, and analyzed. Accessible via a web-based application and mobile devices for monitoring and tracking.
